Description
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are responsible for providing quality care and nursing services to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
B. Essential Job Qualifications:
1. Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program with current NYS licensure
2. Experience:
a) 2+ years of med/surg/acute care or skilled nursing facility experience
b) 1-2 years of homecare experience preferred
c) Strong clinical background with wound care experience
3. Training/Certification: BLS Certification.
4. Licensure: Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
5. Other:
a) Valid driver’s license and current automobile registration and insurance.
b) Willingness and ability to travel as needed
c) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
d) Strong computer skills
